JLA 90th Anniversary

This year, 2025, marks the 90th anniversary of our founding as the Athens Junior Assembly.

The vision and commitment to service of the 25 Charter Members of the Athens Junior Assembly in 1935 has remained through nine decades of dedication to improving the lives of fellow Athenians. The organization has made an impact on numerous organizations—a legacy that continues today.

The JLA Endowment Fund was chartered in 2011 and fully funded in 2017. Since then, the fund has grown to over $350,000 and the income generated each year has allowed the League to provide $63,800 in support for many non-profits in Athens.

To celebrate this 90 year milestone and to enable greater impact in the years to come, the leadership of the League and the Endowment Fund have come together on a 90-90-90 fundraising drive. The goal is simple — 90 donors giving $90 each to honor the 90 years of the League.
