2025-2026 JLC Grant and Volunteer Application

Thank you for your interest in partnering with the Junior League of Columbus (JLC). Each year the JLC Community Impact Council awards small financial grants and volunteer requests to local community partners. During this grant cycle, the JLC is accepting proposals for funding or volunteer projects occurring from July through December 2025.

Financial Grants
Grant requests will be awarded for up to $1,000 per community partner per year.  Award recipients must be charitable, not-for-profit organizations, and have appropriate liability insurance.

Volunteer Requests
JLC volunteer availability is highest on weekends and between 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays. Generally we can accommodate requests for up to 10 volunteers at any given event.

The application deadline is April 11, 2025. Decisions will be shared by June.

Below is additional information on our organization and our community focus for this application. Preference will be for projects that either align with our Bridging the G.A.P. project or JLC’s overall mission. For any questions or to discuss your opportunities, please email communityimpact@jlcolumbus.org.

JLC Mission

The Junior League of Columbus, Inc. is an organization of women whose Mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Community Impact Focus

The Junior League of Columbus’ Signature Project, Bridging the G.A.P. (Guide. Advocate. Provide.), supports youth aging out of the foster care system.

When kids in foster care turn 18, they are no longer part of the foster care system, and many find themselves living alone, without the support, resources, and guidance of a stable family or other caring adults in their lives. Each year in Ohio alone, close to 1,000 youth transition out of the foster care system. The Junior League of Columbus is working diligently to find ways to guide, advocate, and provide for our local youth in need.
