MISSION STATEMENT

The Junior League of Fort Worth, Inc. is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women's leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. 

Funding criteria are outlined at the bottom of this application.

  • Applications will be accepted and reviewed to the extent funds are available.
  • Applications will be reviewed, and notification will be given to applying organizations within 30 days of receipt of application. (Please note: We ask that you ensure that the form is completed accurately and thoroughly. If insufficient information is provided, this may delay the committee’s ability to respond within the stated timeframe).
  • Organizations receiving funds shall submit a written report to the Assistant Finance Vice President / Education Needs Fund (“ENF”) Committee within 6 months of funding. The report shall include an accounting of how the money was spent and how the organization achieved its goal.

Education Needs Grants Funding Criteria

  1. Requests for funding shall be considered from organizations exempt from tax pursuant to Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, or any successor statute (the “Code”) or are part of an independent school district. Requests from individuals shall not be considered.
  2. Organizations requesting funding shall complete an ENF grant application.
  3. Funding requests equal to or less than $2,500 may be granted at the discretion of the ENF Committee. Annual aggregate requests exceeding $2,500 shall be funded only upon approval by the Board of Directors after recommendation by the ENF Committee.
  4. Each request shall be for a specific purpose. The request must be for a non-budgeted or unexpected expense.
  5. The following requests shall not be considered for funding:
    1. Fundraising drives;
    2. Payroll expense;
    3. Political activities or religious instruction; or
    4. Travel expenses.
  6. Organizations shall be committed to voluntarism and the purpose of the request shall be related to League position statements and shall correlate with membership interest.
  7. Generally, the funds shall be used within Tarrant County and not within the geographic boundaries of another Junior League.
