Junior League of Fort Worth 2025-2026 Mini MINTS Application

Mini MINTS serves as an opportunity for the Junior League of Fort Worth (JLFW) to promote voluntarism while responding to educational needs. Educational institutions may apply for volunteer assistance for events and activities that will be completed on a short-term basis, or within one day, during a three-hour (3) shift(s). JLFW does not provide any supplies or funding for such projects, only volunteers. We cannot guarantee the number of volunteers that will sign up for each project; therefore, we recommend that Mini MINTS projects submitted utilize 5-10 volunteers. Applications will be considered as they meet our requirements. Mini MINTS projects should be scheduled to occur between July 1, 2025 and May 31, 2026.

The deadline for Mini MINTS applications is a minimum of 60 days prior to your project.

Incomplete applications will not be considered.

We are unable to serve projects that require volunteers to travel outside of Tarrant County or are in areas where another Junior League already resides (such as in Arlington, Dallas County or Collin County). Projects that impact areas outside of Tarrant County will be considered, but priority will be given to organizations that directly impact Tarrant County and its residents.  In order to apply for Mini MINTS, the applicant must either have 501(c)(3) tax exempt status or part of an independent school district.

Please note: All supplies for the project must be supplied by your institution. Additionally, JLFW volunteers will not be able to participate in “checking out” your event attendees or the handling of any financial transactions.

JLFW requires that an agency staff person be onsite and available during the project. This contact should also be available via phone should the volunteers encounter any problems the day-of the project, such as inclement weather. Please provide the name and contact information for the day-of contact person, which will be provided to JLFW volunteers.

FUNDING
The Mini MINTS committee does not have a budget to assist in purchasing supplies for Mini MINTS opportunities. Our primary objective is to provide volunteers. There may be opportunities for small grants to assist a project request through the Education Needs Fund (ENF) grant application. The grant request will require a separate application and approval process. It is suggested to apply for the ENF grant 45 days in advance of project as applications are reviewed at the beginning of each month. Please note the Mini MINTS and ENF committees are not dependent on each other. We encourage your agency to apply for a Mini MINTS partnership, and if your grant application is approved, we will add it to the project description.
