The Community Assistance Fund provides grants to charitable organizations in Odessa/Ector County. Please review the guidelines below before submitting your application.
Organizations must be a 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(6) and provide proof of certification.
Projects must:
Have a clear humanitarian purpose.
Address a critical need in the community.
Provide measurable impact for residents of Ector County.
Requests must specify how funds will be used.
Maximum funding available: $5,000 per project.
The following requests will not be considered:
Funding for existing JLO projects.
Fundraising or general operating expenses.
Sectarian religious activities (note: secular projects run by religious organizations are eligible).
Organizations that received Community Assistance Funds within the past 24 months.
Proposals will be evaluated to avoid duplication of services already funded by JLO.
Funding decisions will also consider JLO’s current financial capacity.
If awarded, organizations must submit a Post-Project Report within 45 days of fund use, including:
A financial accounting with receipts/invoices.
A description of whether the project achieved its goals.
