JLLV Education Grants Application 2026-2027

The Junior League of Las Vegas (JLLV) is a nonprofit organization of women dedicated to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the Las Vegas community. This year, JLLV will award $50,000 in grants to support local educators and enhance educational opportunities for students across the Las Vegas Valley.

Eligibility:

Applicants must be employed by an accredited Nevada K–12 public, private, or charter school.
One grant submission per educator (teacher, facilitator, counselor, administrator, etc.) is allowed. Educators may not submit multiple grant proposals for different projects.
Educators from the same school may not submit duplicate grant proposals for the same project.
If multiple applications are received for the same project from educators at the same school, only the first application received, based on the date of submission, will be considered.
Grant requests may not exceed $1,500. Funding awarded may be lower than the requested amount.

Grant funds are intended to support projects that:

Provide educational resources;
Enhance educational outcomes; and/or
Improve the student experience.

Grant funds may not be used for:

Food purchases
Field trips
Speaker or conference fees
Substitute teachers
Continuing education units
General classroom supplies unrelated to the proposed project
Hourly compensation for educators implementing the grant
Partial funding for larger projects with total costs exceeding the $1,500 grant maximum

Application Requirements:

Only applications submitted through this form will be accepted.
Applications must be complete and meet all stated requirements to be considered.
Applications containing hyperlinks will not be considered. Please include all required information directly within the application.
If you have submitted the same project for funding through another organization and receive funding before JLLV awards are announced, please notify JLLV and decline JLLV funding so those funds may be redirected to support another project in the community.

If Funded:

Projects must be completed and grant funds must be spent by Friday, April 16, 2027.
Educators are required to submit original receipts to the Junior League of Las Vegas confirming all grant expenses.
Any unused funds must be returned by check no later than April 30, 2027.

1.Use all Junior League of Las Vegas grant funds solely for the purposes described in the approved grant application and expend all awarded funds by April 16, 2027.

2. Submit copies of original receipts documenting all grant-funded purchases and return any unused grant funds by check to the Junior League of Las Vegas by April 30, 2027.

3. Submit five (5) digital photos of the completed project (without student faces visible) and a brief reflection describing the project's outcomes, including what worked well and how students responded to the experience, to the Junior League of Las Vegas

4. Coordinate with a Junior League of Las Vegas member to arrange a site visit between March 1 and April 16, 2027, to showcase the completed grant project and its impact on students.
