The event you have been waiting for is around the corner, the 47th Annual Simply Sarasota Tour of Homes, presented by Charlotte's Grace, on Friday, February 23rd and Saturday, February 24th from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Over the two days, attendees will have the opportunity to take an intimate look inside of Sarasota's most beautiful and exclusive homes, complete with live music, demonstrations and pop-up shops, lite bites, wine tastings, and much more! Self-guided tours of the homes or guided tours with a Junior League hostess will be available.
The homes on the tour include:
- A maximalist Mediterranean-style house on the north end of Siesta Key filled with fun patterns and featuring stunning waterfront view
- A historic, beautifully decorated home in Laurel Park that is surrounded by lush gardens and was built in the 1920s with ties to Sarasota’s circus history
- A modern, resort-like home in San Remo with a chef’s kitchen, fitness room, lap pool, and wine room
- An elegant new construction home West of the Trail with a two-story great room, grand staircase, and outdoor summer kitchen
- A custom and meticulously curated home in the Arlington Park area with high-end finishes and an outdoor courtyard

A Tour Route and Teasers of the homes are included in the document attached (below). This is a recommended route only, and depicts the general location of the homes. Attendees may begin the self-guided tour at any home, and homes may be toured in any order. Please check-in with volunteers before entering each home. All homes require you to remove your shoes or to wear disposable shoe coverings (which will be provided at the home). You will receive a Tour Program at the first house you visit which will serve as your ticket during the event and entrance to happy hour on Saturday.
The Tour will conclude with a celebratory happy hour on Saturday, February 24th from 4 – 6:00 p.m. at CinéBistro Siesta Key. Happy hour attendees will enjoy two complimentary drinks, hors d’oeuvres, live steel pan music, and the chance to participate in an exciting silent auction and raffle. Silent auction and raffle highlights include a two-night stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota; a chef’s wine dinner from Cafe Barbosso; a fishing charter; a photography session; area theater tickets; and spa gift certificates.
This year we are excited to announce that we are offering TWO VIP Trolleys each day! Both trolleys each day run at the same time (10am-4pm). VIP Trolley ticket holders will enjoy narrated trolley transportation between the homes, along with Prosecco, and personal charcuterie boxes. The trolleys pick up and drop off at the Southgate Macy’s parking lot on the south side of lot. The departure time is 10 a.m. The exact return time of the trolley will depend on traffic and time spent at homes. Trolley #1 on Friday and Saturday is narrated by local Architect Hannah Boehmer of Sweet Sparkman Architects. Trolley #2 on Friday and Saturday is narrated by local historian John McCarthy, Vice President for Regional History at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens.

Both General Admission tickets and VIP Trolley tickets include access to all homes (one day only) and admission to the Happy Hour on February 24th.
Proceeds from this event will support the Junior League of Sarasota’s signature focus, providing assistance to individuals who are aging out of the foster care system.

FAQs:
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? VIP: If you are on the VIP Trolley Tour, the meeting area will be the Southgate Macys parking lot, on the south side of the lot. General Admission: If you have general admission tickets, parking will depend on the area the home is located. Only park in legally marked areas. Please watch for parking signs. When parking on the street, DO NOT block driveways. Please be aware of pedestrians. Volunteers will be on hand to assist with parking. DO NOT block the designated Trolley parking space. Carpooling is encouraged!

Do I have to bring my printed receipt to the event? We recommend you bring your receipt to the event, or have it handy electronically. We will also have a check-in list. This applies to both general admission and VIP Trolley tickets.
What does the Junior League of Sarasota do? The Junior League of Sarasota is a non-profit organization of trained, hands-on volunteers that has been working to address some of the most difficult issues Sarasota faces for more than 60 years. You may be familiar with some of our legacy projects, many of which are now separate organizations. We are responsible for the creation of organizations such as Children First, the Child Protection Center and Teen Court; built the first handicapped accessible playground; purchased and stocked household goods for new homes at Harvest House; etc. These are just a few of the charitable works that the Junior League has been a key part of. This year we have a focus on Aging Out of Foster Care. When we recognize a crisis, our 250+ members turn hard-work and resources into solutions. Every year, hundreds of young adults age out of the foster system without parental guidance to help them establish themselves and their futures. The Junior League of Sarasota is joining the fight to support and assist the youth of the foster care system in Sarasota County by creating an impactful program that will help them obtain the life skills and education necessary to become self-sufficient, live independently, and maintain employment. Attending the Tour of Homes means that you are not only going to have a great time and see some beautiful homes, but you are helping the Junior League of Sarasota help those in the community who need it the most.
