More than 300,000 children in Minnesota live with food insecurity. Every Meal is on a mission to change that. Every Meal fights child hunger by focusing on filling the food gaps children face on weekends, extended breaks, and summer when they’re not able to access school meal programs. When they don’t have consistent access to enough food, the risk of hunger is very real. Through their multiple food gap programs, they provide children and families experiencing food insecurity with access to good food.
Our shift time starts at 6 PM, but please arrive 15 minutes early so we can start on time! Make sure to wear close-toes shoes. First, we'll have a brief orientation in the volunteer center. Next we'll form assembly lines and pack non-perishable food items for people in our community who need it! You will be standing on your feet for the entire shift.
