This form may be used by any incoming or active members who are committed to the JLR’s mission and will actively participate in the league, but are unable to meet the full dues requirement and want to request a dues scholarship. The only members that are not eligible are the Scholarship Review Committee (Treasurer, VP Finance, VP Governance).

Dues scholarships may be requested every year an active member is unable to afford full dues and wants to continue to actively participate in the JLR. Payment plans may also be requested annually by reaching out to the Treasurer@jlroch.org

AJLI fees are required to be paid by every member. Applicants will be asked to pay as much as they can of the current annual dues less the AJLI fees and request a scholarship for up to the remaining balance. The league will set a budget for how much they have available in total for scholarships in the annual budget.

All scholarship requests are considered confidential.

1. Fill out the Member Dues Scholarship Application below. Applications for new members are accepted on a rolling basis.
2. Submit the Application. For active members renewing their dues, application must be submitted by June 15th each year and AJLI required dues must be paid via estore or check by June 30th.
3. The Treasurer, or a designated representative, will contact you if she has any follow up questions.
4. The Scholarship committee will determine eligibility on an ongoing basis, and the Treasurer will promptly notify applicants of the decision. Scholarship requests are generally processed within 2 weeks.
5. Scholarship recipients will be selected based on financial need, hardships preventing the member from paying dues, and expressed interest in joining JLR or continuing to actively participate in JLR.

Active Members: Full annual league dues for the 2021-2022 league year are $183.00. Our league dues include $43 earmarked for AJLI dues. All members are required to pay at minimum this amount. Please head to JLR DUES section of our website to pay AJLI fee portion or mail a check (must be postmarked by 6/30/2021). For the 2021-2022 league year, active members may apply for up to $140.00 of the remaining league dues.

Provisional Members: Annual dues for provisional members are prorated based on the month each new member joins. Please contact Jes Hoffman (admissionprovisional@jlroch.org) for information on the prorated dues schedule. For the 2021-2022 league year, provisional members may apply for the full amount of prorated dues minus the $43 earmarked for AJLI.
